TRACKPACK Monoblock Case-packer

The Marchesini TRACKPACK is a continuous motion machine, suitable to apply (if properly equipped), one (1) self-adhesive Vignette on the upper carton face or two (2) Tamper Evident “TE” seals on the carton closure points. Semi-automatic insertion of cartons into the case. Machine operating in line with other machines and arranged for Track & Trace applications. Manual opening and closing of the case. Manual application on the case of the label containing the serialization data (when required).  

Main Features

  • Design, manufacturing and ergonomics, in accordance with cGMP norms.
  • Balcony design with stainless steel supporting frame.
  • Two (2) horizontal conveyor belts, allowing cartons accumulation at the infeed.
  • Patented spacing device transferring the cartons onto the main toothed conveyor belt.
  • Second couple of horizontal toothed conveyor belts with adjustable width to handle different sizes of carton.
  • Positive conveyance system with toothed belts to keep the cartons in pitch.
  • Horizontal and vertical adjustment of the Vignette position.
  • Vignettes smoothing system by brushes or rubber rollers.
  • Vignettes carrier web rewinding unit.
  • Dispensed labels counter.
  • Conveyor belt for cartons accumulation.
  • Station for cartons collation in the hopper.
  • Carton rejection at discharge with collection inside bin placed on operator side.
  • Size changeover by means of guided adjustments (infeed carton size) and replacement of some dedicated parts (case size).
  • CE marking.

Safeties and Controls

  • Safety guards in aluminium and methacrylate, integrated in the machine frame.
  • Emergency circuits and protections with safety level “PLd Cat.3”.
  • Two (2) optical safety barriers: one placed at the in-feed of the manual case loading zone and one in the product collation zone (emergency stop if operator works in the collation zone during the case positioning or after the machine restart confirmation).
  • Pulling motion control of label carrier web.
  • Broken web detection with immediate machine stop.
  • End of reel control with machine stop.
  • Control for backing paper rewinding unit maximum load, with machine stop.
  • Missing label control on reel.
  • Minimum load control at machine infeed.
  • Case position control before the carton’s insertion.
  • Compressed air control pressure-switch with machine stop at low-level detection.

Not included (quoted separately)

  • One (1) “V” labelling head with unwinder.
  • Kit of two (2) “TE” labelling heads with double unwinder.

Optional Accessories

  • Equipment for Track & Trace applications: Ink jet printing system for the printing of readable data as well as corresponding 2D code (Datamatrix) on the upper face and/or both sides of the carton; vision system with camera for the relevant controls.
